Covid-19 Safety

If you are a close contact of a COVID-19 case, please get tested, self-isolate and do not attend the Sydney Royal Easter Show.


Do you have symptoms of COVID19?


If you are unwell or develop symptoms, such as headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat or runny nose, get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result. To find your nearest clinic, visit: https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/how-to-protect-yourself-and-others/clinics.

Will there be hand sanitisation stations?


Yes, there will be hand sanitisation stations at all event entry points and throughout the venue.

How will physical distancing be maintained?


The Sydney Family Show is following NSW Government guidelines to ensure the event site abides by all physical distancing rules, including limited numbers of exhibition stands, streamlined entry and exit points, and physically distanced queuing, this will all be monitored by COVID Marshals.

Will there be COVID-19 Safe and Hygiene Marshals onsite?


Yes, COVID Marshals will be deployed throughout the site to assist with physical distancing and to minimise congestion. 

Is it safe to attend the 2021 Sydney Family Show?


The Sydney Family Show is constantly working within NSW guidelines and is compliant with all COVIDSafe requirements as directed by the Government to optimise safety for all patrons, exhibitors, and staff.

Do I have to sign-in when entering the Showground?


Yes, all personnel on site will need to sign-in to the Showground to enable appropriate contact tracing. All patrons, clients, exhibitors and contractors will sign-in via a unique barcode on their ticket. 


SFS recommends that you download and activate the COVID Safe app to your mobile device.

Will there be increased cleaning?


Yes, there will be increased frequency of surface cleaning and sanitisation.

Will SFS be temperature testing?


No, at this stage there will not be temperature testing upon entry. Should this advice from NSW Health change, we will inform all patrons and exhibitors prior to the event.

Will animal petting be allowed on site?


Yes, hand washing facilities will be provided at all animal petting sites and across the venue. These facilities will also be accompanied by signage to remind people to sanitise/wash hands before and after all activities.

How will SFS communicate if there is a COVID issue?


If an issue was to arise, this would be communicated appropriately to exhibitors, sponsors and patrons. The general public would be advised via the social media and the website.

Are face masks compulsory onsite at SFS?


No, at this stage it is not compulsory to wear a face mask onsite during the Show nor during bump in and bump out. Should this advice change, we will inform all patrons and exhibitors and recommend you check our website prior to Show day to remain up to date.

If the Sydney Family Show is cancelled due to COVID-19, will I receive a refund?


Yes, a full-refund policy will apply for all tickets purchased if the 2021 Sydney Family Show is cancelled.

Where is the Sydney Family Show located?


The Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park. Location address for your GPS is 122 Lang Road, Moore Park

Who is defined as an Adult, Child or Family ?


· An Adult ticket is for a person who does not meet the requirements for purchasing a child.

· A Child ticket is for anyone 4-15 years of age

· Children 3 and under are FREE and do not require an entry ticket.

· Family is for 4 people any age

Are my tickets transferable?


Tickets purchased online are transferable.

Where is the Taxi rank located?


Located inside the precinct on Errol Flynn Boulevard next to Backyard Burger Kitchen. 

Do you accept Dine and Discover NSW?


Yes we do at the two main ticketboxes. 

What dates are the Sydney Family Show open?


The show will run from the 1st - 18th April 2021.


10am - 5pm daily (6pm Easter Weekend)


Where can I buy my ride and games tickets?


You can pre-purchase wristbands online on our Tickets Page or you can buy your wristband at the ticket/info box at each of our main entry points at the show. Cash or EFTPOS is accepted.


Which option is right for me.....unlimited rider wristband or rider ticket?


One of the best features of the Sydney Family Show is that you can pay as you go on the rides and sideshows at your pace and budget. The show offers either a 2hr Unlimited Rider Wristband or individual ride tickets. The best way to decide what is right for you and your family is ultimately your choice, many patrons that love to ride the rides over and over choose the wristband, those who wish to observe the activities and only ride a few rides usually choose the individual ride tickets.  Ride tickets can be split up between people, whereas wristbands are one per person only.

Where are the ATMs located?


ATMs are located at the ticket box in the showring in various locations. Refer to the Show map for locations. ATMs are temporarily located inside the city convenience store and The Bavarian.

Where are the parents' room located?


Located near the kids playground opposite Monkey Mania, and next to Plaster Funtime.  It is equipped with kids' toilets, private feeding facilities and change tables.


Do they rides have any height and age restrictions?


Yes, the ride safety guide is pictured below. All rides are supervised, however, rider responsibility is advised.

how to get there

The Entertainment Quarter is located at 122 Lang Road, Moore Park NSW 2010 (next to the Sydney Cricket Ground) and is open everyday.

There are plenty of ways to get to The EQ that are easy and convenient from all parts of Sydney.


Catch the Light Rail

Catch a light rail service to Moore Park on the L2 Randwick Line or L3 Kingsford Line to get within a short walking distance of EQ. 

The Moore Park stop is located on Anzac Parade just north of Lang Road. Services run every 5 to 10 minutes between Circular Quay and

Moore Park, and every 10 to 15 minutes between Moore Park and Randwick or Juniors Kingsford, from 5am until 1am daily.


Catch the bus:

There are a number of a regular route buses that stop along Anzac Parade, Oxford Street and other nearby roads within short walking

distance of EQ. Use the Trip Planner at transportnsw.info to plan your trip by bus.



The Entertainment Quarter operates a managed taxi rank within the site from Errol Flynn Boulevard.


Car Parking

Parking at The Entertainment Quarter is easy with the EQ Carpark. It offers 2000 car spaces, and a max. vehicle height of 2.1m.

It’s about a 25 minute walk from Central Station to EQ via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter walkway.
