Greyhounds As Pets NSW is bringing 45 retired racing greyhounds to the Dogs in the Park at this year's Sydney Family Show. It's the largest public showing of available greyhounds since GAPNSW was founded in 2008.

There are doggie market stalls to visit, demonstrations and dog contests where the adoptable greyhounds compete to be the cutest dog, fanciest dressed, best in show, have the waggiest tail, and more.

Registration is encouraged, although people can meet the greyhounds and potentially adopt them on the spot.

GAPNSW team members will be on-site to match dogs with potential partners based on a process that matches the dog's needs, its personality, and the lifestyle of its future owner.
